What is Guggul (Commiphora Wightii)

The Guggul Tree is a homegrown Indian tree that found richly in the temperate areas of north India. It is a little shrub, not over 4 meters in height. It's got a lean bark with all thorny branches and trifoliate leaves. It is pink or red flowers with four petals each. The gum of the guggul plant is utilized largely in Ayurvedic medicine. This gum is a yellowing gummy material that's obtained in the branch of the guggul plant. The plant that was guggul is established in Ayurveda. Shodhana is made by boiling the herb in cow's milk or its urine.
